Amy Shoemaker, a contemporary singer-songwriter is released her new album Show and Tell at this concert. The show included pop tunes with harmony vocals, reflective and beautiful ballads, and a few rockers, too. In Chicagoland, she has performed in many groups including Ladies View, The Sweet Maries, and Amy and the Rhinos.
This album is the first under her own name. It was recorded in the land of sunshine and succulents in Berkeley, CA, where Shoemaker was able to take her artistic focus to a new level.
This concert featured a full band with Amy Shoemaker, vocals; Jay Whitehouse, guitar; Sami Scot on keyboard and accordion; Holly McGuire, background vocals; Zara Zaharieva, violin; Jim Cox, bass, and Phil Gratteau, drums; performing as The Magnificent Seven.
